Mumbai:- The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai has completed its final placement process for the MBA Batch of 2024-26, recording the highest domestic salary package of Rs. 71.4 lakh per annum. IIM Mumbai has also reported strong participation from leading recruiters across various sectors like consulting, technology, finance, FMCG, and logistics.
According to the media reports, a total of 505 students participated in the placement drive. While 502 job offers were rolled out across various programs, three students opted out of the placement process to pursue their entrepreneurial ventures.

Consulting emerged as the top recruiting sector this year, accounting for a significant share of total offers.

Robust Hiring in the FinTech, FMCG, and Logistics and Operations Sector
The finance sector also witnessed considerable recruitment activity, with global investment and financial services like Goldman Sachs participating in the campus drive.

The roles offered in the FinTech sector included investment banking, risk management, corporate finance, and financial consulting.

In the technology and e-commerce sector, companies such as Amazon have made offers for operations, analytical, and product management roles.

The increasing cooperation of technology in important business processes has increased the demand for MBA graduates with analytical and digital skills.

The FMCG and consumer goods sector remained another important recruiter, with organisations including PepsiCo offering roles in marketing, supply chain, sales, and general management.

Given IIM Mumbai’s strong legacy in operations and supply chain management, the logistics and manufacturing sectors also showed steady growth in recruiting trends.
The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai placement results show that the industry continues to trust IIM Mumbai’s academic excellence. The presence of approximately 200 recruiters from various fields shows ongoing corporate engagement despite the changing market conditions. The successful completion of the 2024-26 final placement season maintains IIM Mumbai’s standing as one of India’s leading management universities, showing strong job options for its alumni in a variety of industries.
