RPSC SI Exam 2026: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has invited applications from the candidates who have appeared for both the question papers of the previously held written examination for the posts of Sub Inspector Police / Platoon Commander for the re-conducted examination. As per the official data, 383,097 appeared for the previous recruitment examination. Only these candidates are eligible to re-apply for the upcoming examination which is scheduled to be held on 20 September 2026. The application process will commence from 16 May to 30 May 2026. The candidates can visit the official website, rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates can only update their application form that was previously submitted by updating details such as mobile number, email address, live photo, thumb impression, etc.

The RPSC has released the official notice which mentions the RPSC SI new exam date 2026 for the "Sub Inspector Police / Platoon Commander Recruitment Examination, 2021". The new exam date has been announced to be 20 September 2026.
RPSC SI Re-Apply Notice 2026
The candidates can apply for the RPSC SI recruitment examination by updating their already submitted applications from 16 May onwards till 30 May 2026. The notice was published by the commission on 08 May 2026.

How to Apply for RPSC SI Recruitment 2021?
The candidate will have to complete KYC in their OTR (if not done already). Candidates can make the said changes in their application as follows:

If the KYC process in OTR is complete by the candidate: After logging into SSO, the candidate can directly go to the My Recruitment > Edit Application/ Withdraw Application section, click on the edit button available against the SI-2021 recruitment, and make the above-permitted amendments in their application.

If the KYC process in OTR is incomplete by the candidate: The candidate should go to the Recruitment Portal application using the same SSO ID from which they applied for SI 2021, complete the KYC process and OTR, and then go to the My Recruitment > Edit Application/ Withdraw Application section, click on the edit button available against the SI-2021 recruitment, and make the said permitted amendments in their application.

If the candidate has migrated their OTR to any other SSO ID: The candidate can amend their own application form using the latest SSO ID as per the process described above. If the SI-2021 application is not available in the latest SSO/OTR, the candidate can use the "Fetch Application Form" option available in their OTR to transfer the application from the then SSO ID (the details of the old SSO ID used for applying are printed on the application form) to the new SSO/OTR.

The Live Photo, Signature, and Thumb Impression saved by the candidate in the OTR will automatically be fetched from the OTR into the application.

The candidate will self-amend the remaining entries (Mobile Number, E-mail, and Correspondence Address) as per the process described above.
After completing the above process, submit the application form and verify through OTP. Save the application form for future use. The candidates will only be allowed to appear in the examination only if they submit the updated application forms.
