The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) released the Round 1 seat allotment result and opening-closing ranks on June 13, 2026. Following the announcement, candidates can now check the branch-wise cutoff ranks for admission to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, one of the most preferred engineering institutes in the country. The Round 1 cutoff ranks indicate the minimum and maximum JEE Advanced ranks at which seats were allotted in various B.Tech specialisations.
IIT Delhi Round 1 Cutoff 2026 Released
The Round 1 opening and closing ranks provide an overview of admission trends across various branches at IIT Delhi. An opening rank represents the rank of the first candidate who secured a seat in a particular programme, while the closing rank refers to the rank of the last candidate allotted a seat in that round.
As expected, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) remained the most competitive branch at IIT Delhi. Other popular programmes such as Mathematics and Computing, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering also witnessed strong demand among top JEE Advanced rank holders.
