IIT Kanpur to Organise Two-Day Startup Event, Abhivyakti 2026, Starting March 20

The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur will organise a two-day startup and innovation event, Abhivyakti 2026,  starting March 20 at its campus. The event aims to bring together startups, investors, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss emerging technologies and strengthen India’s growing innovation ecosystem. The program is being organised by the institute’s Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), which supports technology-driven startups and promotes entrepreneurship emerging from academic research. 

Through this event, the institute aims to offer a platform where entrepreneurs can showcase their innovations, interact with potential investors, and explore collaborations with industry experts.

Abhivyakti 2026 to Feature Startup Showcases and Industry Discussions

Abhivyakti 2026 is expected to host over 150 startups from across India, representing a wide range of technology sectors at IIT Kanpur.

• The events will highlight innovations in fields such as artificial intelligence, agritech, clean technology, cybersecurity, defence and aerospace, fintech, Internet of Things (IoT), semiconductors, and medtech.
• The two-day program will include startup exhibitions, product demonstrations, panel discussions, and networking sessions aimed at encouraging collaboration between innovators, investors, and industry leaders.
• Founders and early-stage entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to present their ideas and technologies to venture capitalists and corporate partners.

Abhivyakti 2026 is also expected to strengthen collaboration between academia, industry, and government stakeholders, helping create a supportive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship in the country.
