India Post GDS 2nd Merit List 2026 Releasing Soon at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in - Check Your State Wise Result Here

Once released, candidates  can download the state/regions wise India Post GDS 2nd Merit List 2026 for the posts of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and others at the  official website-https://indiapost.gov.in. 

Candidates shortlisted India Post GDS 2nd Merit List 2026 will have to carry the crucial documents during the certificate verification round. Below are the list of documents required-  

-Marks sheet

- Identity proof

 -Caste certificate

-PwBD certificate

-EWS Certificate

-Transgender certificate

 -Date of Birth Proof

-Medical certificate issued by a medical officer of any Government Hospital/Government Dispensaries/Government Primary Health Centre, etc. (Compulsory) Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in respect of knowledge of tribal/local dialects or language in case of engagement in the state of Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim or Goa.

Once shortlisted, candidates will have to submit an undertaking to the Engaging Authority regarding knowledge of Computer, Cycling and having adequate means of livelihood, prescribed formats at the time of engagement.

Candidates applied for the 28,636 Gramin Dak Sevak and other positions can view their application submission status on the website by logging in to the website using their registration number as username and password.

Those candidates who will be shortlisted in the India Post GDS 2nd Merit List 2026,will have to attend the office of the designated authority, i.e., the Divisional/Unit Head of the Division/Unit for physical verification of documents and further engagement formalities within a period of 15 days from the date of shortlisting.

If you are unable to download the India Post GDS 2nd Merit List 2026, no need to worry as the India Post will inform you of the result and dates of physical verification etc, through SMS on their registered mobile number as well as through email on the registered email addresses.
