SSC CGL 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling out the online application form, candidates must ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria, such as educational qualification and age limit. Candidates can check the details below 

1. Educational Qualification:

A candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University 

For specific posts like Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), a minimum of 60% in Mathematics at the 12th-grade level or a degree in Statistics is mandatory. 

For the Assistant Audit Officer (AAO), a CA/CMA/CS or Master's in Commerce is a "desirable" qualification.

2. Age Limit (as of the cutoff date):

The age requirement varies depending on the post:

For most posts: 18 to 30 years.

For JSO: Up to 32 years.

For Auditor/Accountant: 18 to 27 years.

Relaxation in age will be given as per government norms to reserved category candidates.
