The second list was published to fill the vacant seats that remained after the first round of admissions ended.

How to Check KVS Class 1 Second Lottery Result 2026?

Parents can check the provisional selection and waiting list by following these steps:

1. Visit the official KVS admission website: admission.kvs.gov.in.
2. Click on the link “Class 1 Provisional Selection List 2026” or “Second Lottery List.”
3. Select your Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) region or school.
4. Enter registration number and other required details.
5. The result will display the candidate’s status: “Selected,” “Waiting List (WL),” or “Not Selected.”
6. Download the result for future reference.

Important Points for KVS Class 1 Admission 2026

• Candidates marked "Selected" are shortlisted and must complete the remaining admission steps. Those on the "Waiting List (WL)" will only be offered a place if a selected candidate fails to complete their admission.
• Selected candidates are required to report to the relevant Kendriya Vidyalaya by the specified deadline for document verification and admission formalities. If they fail to do this, their seat will be cancelled and offered to the next eligible candidate on the waiting list.
• If seats are still available, KVS will release a Third Provisional List on April 21, 2026. All admissions will close on April 30, 2026. Parents should finish the admission process to ensure admission.
