In a significant move to bridge the gap between classroom learning and professional development, CBSE has announced an all-inclusive training initiative for educators across the Jammu region. This new program is specifically designed to enable teachers and school counsellors with inclusive knowledge regarding modern career pathways and the evolving landscape of higher education.
CBSE to Empower Teachers as Career Counsellors
The training sessions of the new initiative of the CBSE are scheduled to be held at various centres in Jammu, focusing on shifting the counselling pattern from traditional roles to a more effective, informed approach. With the introduction of new-age subjects and vocational courses under the NEP 2020, CBSE aims to ensure that teachers can guide students through the difficulties of college admissions, entrance exams, and alternative career paths in various fields like Artificial Intelligence, Sustainable development, digital marketing, etc.
New Initiative To Strengthen the Educational Ecosystem in Jammu
This new initiative of the CBSE will focus on the Jammu region to ensure that the students in the Union Territory have access to the same quality of career guidance as their fellow batchmates in the other states and Union Territories. CBSE board authorities have also stated that this approach will create a sustainable guidance cell within every school, developing an environment where students can make informed decisions about their desired career paths without having to rely on only one source.
