On May 21, 2026, Chief Minister Vijay expanded his initial 10-member cabinet to 33 ministers by inducting 23 new MLAs at the Lok Bhavan in Chennai.
TVK’s government is the first coalition government in the state in nearly six decades, with the Indian National Congress (INC) officially joining the cabinet.
