DRDO SAG Internship 2026: Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has issued an official notification regarding the "Paid Internship Program" through its Scientific Analysis Group (SAG), Delhi on 5 June 2026. Scientific Analysis Group (SAG) is an eminent research laboratory working under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. This program aims to invite applications from students pursuing the last semester of their UG or PG engineering/science courses. The duration of the internship will be 6 months and it will start on 1 July 2026.

DRDO SAG Internship 2026: Eligibility Criteria

For UG Courses: The candidates must be pursuing a course in B.E./B.Tech. in the 4th Year (7th or 8th Semester).

Candidate must be pursuing studies in a full-time course from an AICTE/UGC recognized college/university
3. Minimum Marks

The applicant must have scored a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA and above in their respective degree.

Applicants who have failed in any semester of their respective degree are not eligible to apply.

DRDO SAG Internship 2026: Selection Process

Candidates will be selected solely on the grounds of merit.

Only those candidates who have secured a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA and above from an AICTE/UGC approved institution will be eligible.

Candidates meeting the above eligibility criteria will be shortlisted based on CGPA only.

Candidates shortlisted may also be asked to appear for an Interview or Interaction session, as decided by SAG/DRDO.

Selection is contingent upon verification of all the submitted documents.

Candidates must present an original No Objection Certificate (NOC) signed by the principal/dean/dept head/TPO of the college/university on college/university letterhead.

The selected candidates alone will be notified regarding the joining process by Email ID.

Rejected candidates will not receive any correspondence regarding the selection process.
