The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP)  exams for Intermediate (Class 12) is underway.  The exams started from February 24, 2026, and were conducted in a single morning shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. AP Inter 2nd Year Subject-Wise Exam Structure 2026

Given here is a detailed exam structure for AP Inter all subjects. 

1. Mathematics (75 marks)

• The math papers (IIA and IIB) contains problem-solving questions and is divided in three main sections:

• Section A: 10 very short answer questions (2 marks each) — 20 points (no option).

• Section B: 5 short answer questions (4 marks each) — 20 points (choose 5 of 7).

• Section C: 5 Long Answer questions (7 marks each) — 35 points (choose 5 of 7).

2. Science Subjects (60 Mark Theory)

Science papers like physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology focus on conceptual clarity and diagram work. 

• Section A consists of ten very short answer questions (2 marks each) worth twenty points.

• Section B consists of six short answer questions at four points each, totaling 24 points

• Section C consists of two long answer questions (8 marks each) totaling 16 marks.

3. Commerce and Economics (100 marks)

These papers are more detailed, with Section A frequently including high-weightage 10-mark questions. The paper makes long format essay type answers compulsory (around 40 words).
