UCEED 2026 Admission Important Notes

  • Seat Acceptance Requirement: Selected candidates must immediately remit the seat acceptance fee before the deadline in their allotment letter, or their application will be cancelled.
  • Declining Offer: Candidates who decline the offer will not be considered for any subsequent rounds of seat allotment.
  • Vacant Seats: Vacant seats due to non-payment or declination will be offered to other eligible candidates in Rounds 2 through 5.
  • A candidate's options after seat allotment depend on their preference rank. If allotted their 1st choice, they can Freeze (accept and exit counselling) or Decline (reject and cancel candidature). If allotted a lower choice (2nd to 5th), they can Freeze (accept and exit) or Float (accept the current seat but remain eligible for a higher preference, automatically forfeiting the current seat if a better one is allotted).
  • Fee Payment for 'Float' Candidates: Candidates choosing 'Float' who receive a better seat in a later round do not need to pay the seat acceptance fee again.
  • Refund Policy (Rounds I and II Only):
    • Applicable for candidates withdrawing by the Round-II deadline.
    • Refund Amounts (after Rs 5,000 processing charges deduction):
      • Rs 55,000 for GEN/EWS/OBC-NCL.
      • Rs 10,000 for SC/ST/PwD.
  • No Refund Policy: No refund will be given to candidates who pay and accept seats in Rounds III, IV, or V if they subsequently withdraw.
