Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations, TNDGE, announced the much-awaited Class 12, HSE results today, May 8, 2026. Students who appeared for the Plus Two exams can now access their marksheet via the official websites, tnresults.nic.in. This year’s results reflect a steady climb in academic standards, with a high concentration of students achieving perfect scores in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. This year marks a significant milestone as the overall pass percentage has climbed to 95.20%, showcasing a steady improvement in the state's secondary education performance.

District-Wise Performance
In a shift in the leaderboard, Erode has emerged as the top-performing district in Tamil Nadu for 2026. Known for its strong educational infrastructure, Erode secured the highest pass percentage, followed closely by districts like Tiruppur and Coimbatore.

Passing Marks and Grading System of Tamil Nadu HSE+2
To clear the TN HSE +2 exams, students must secure a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 in every subject. For subjects with practicals, students must pass both the theory and practical components. The grading follows a scale where A1 (91-100) represents the highest tier, while those scoring below 35 are placed in the E1 (Fail) category and are eligible for supplementary exams.
Students can download their provisional marksheets using their registration number and date of birth. Original certificates will be distributed through respective schools at a later date.
