IIIT Delhi MTech 2026 Merit List and Round 1 Seat Allotment Out at iiitd.ac.in; Accept Offers by May 25

IIIT Delhi MTech Result 2026: The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) has announced the result of Merit List & Round 1 Seat Allotment for the admissions to its postgraduate program in the year 2026. The notification is of high significance for all those candidates who had applied for the admission in the various specialized streams, which include Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), CSE-Research, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Computational Biology (CB). Those applicants who had applied using their GATE scores or who had appeared in the IIITD Postgraduate Common Admission Test for IIIT-Delhi (PGCAT-IIITD) can now check the same on the official website - iiitd.ac.in.

In order to occupy their provisionally allotted seats, shortlisted candidates need to be fast and efficient within the provided time frame. The allotted students need to confirm their admission and pay their first academic fee of Rs. 2,12,000 online before the deadline date of May 25, 2026 (5:00 P.M.). It has been notified by the administrative authorities that any failure on the candidate’s part to do so within the specified window period would mean automatic disqualification from occupying the allotted seat in question. The merit list in the form of stream-wise downloadable PDFs has been released.

• Open up your web browser and navigate to the official web site portal iiitd.ac.in.

• Select the “Admissions” tab from the options provided in the top horizontal menu.

• Select the required “MTech” choice from the choices available in the drop-down box.

• Scroll down to find the "Important Announcements" sub-section on the page.

• Click the link relevant to your stream to see the merit list file.

• Download the list PDF and look for your application number in it.
