Mama Coaching Classes: The Mama Coaching Classes were launched on May 10, 2026, by Union Agriculture Minister and Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, in his Lok Sabha constituency of Vidisha. The initiation of such coaching classes has been regarded as one of the crucial measures for reforming education in the area. It has been thoughtfully devised as a measure aimed at bridging the gap between talent and availability of resources in case of students coming from economically backward backgrounds.
Since monetary limitations act as a deterrent for students to pursue opportunities in government services, the plan is aimed at offering free assistance to the needy students in preparing for examinations of MPPSC, SSC, Banking Services, and Railway Services. While announcing the scheme at Osho Ashram in Indraprastha Colony, Mr. Chouhan expressed his belief that poverty should never stand in the way of a good candidate's ambitions, and the scheme will indeed be his national duty.
With the creation of such a positive and welcoming environment that feels just like “Mama”, as Chouhan is affectionately known, the project aims to ensure equal footing among all people regarding expensive coaching classes, as found in major cities. With increasing measures being taken to ensure the availability of such classes in Raisen and Bhairunda, the project can easily be seen as an effective means of empowering villagers to be on par with the best at the government level.
