CBSE Re-Evaluation Result 2026: Avni Kejriwal's Score Jumps to 500/500 After Re-Checking of Answer Sheets
Avni Kejriwal became a CBSE Class 12 national topper after her score jumped from 95.2% to 500/500 following re-evaluation of answer sheets.
Avni Kejriwal a CBSE Class 12th student of DPS Ranchi, after the board's re-evaluation process she has scored 500 out of 500. Initially her score was 95.2% as per the result declared on May 13, 2026. Her family was satisfied with the secured marks, but Avni was not satisfied and wanted to apply for the re-evaluation process. Which has eventually made her a national topper.
In an interview with ANI she has mentioned that she use to be always a good performer in english subject and scoring 81 in english and 95 in business studies is not satisfying for her and wanted to be reviewed during the re-checking process. After the revaluation across all five subjects she has secured a perfect 500/500 score.
She has also mentioned basic study tips that she has followed to score high her board examination. Not to use social media as it can distract and effect your preparations during exam time. I was following goal oriented strategy rather than focusing on continue sitting and giving hours for study, said Avni. Her higher education approach is to launch her own business with ultimate goals. The principal of DPS Ranchi, Dr. Jaya Chauhan congratulated her on her success and also motivating other students to get inspirations to others. And also Dr. Chauhan mentioned that focus and right guidance can make u achieve all your goals and success.
How Avni Kejriwal's CBSE Score Changed After Re-Evaluation
Avni was not satisfied with the initial score which was 95.2%. She felt some discrepancy her in secured marks that is in english the deduction of 19 marks, and 5 marks in business studies. She was confident about her performance especially in english and she has challenged the evaluation and applied for re-checking. The scrutiny of her answer sheets make her achieve an additional 24 marks and aiming for 500 out of 500 in Class 12th Board Exam.
How CBSE's Re-Evaluation Process Works
CBSE's Re-Evaluation Process Works in two steps. First is apply fo the scanned copies of your answer sheet via official website of cbse, by logging in with the required credentials. And paying the required fees per subject. Once the fees is paid, students will receive an acknowledgement page, which can be saved for future purposes. And the scripts will be available on your profile in few days. Second one is, students need to submit a formal verification request mentioning the issue they are facing such as counting mistake, missing sheet, or unmarked answers.
