UGC NET Exam Analysis 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the UGC NET June 2026 examination for 87 subjects from 22 June to 30 June 2026. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on a day-to-day basis for different subjects. The UGC NET exam consists of two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2, and the exam is being held in a single shift for both the papers. There will be no break between the two papers. The NTA is conducting the examination in online mode (Computer-Based Test). The UGC NET shift 1 exam for 23 June includes subjects such as Public Administration, Education, Social Work, Malayalam, Urdu, Criminology, Performing Art, Tribal & Regional Language, Folk Literature.
The UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted to assess the eligibility of the candidates for three positions: Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and PhD admissions. The candidates qualifying the UGC NET exam will be eligible for these posts depending on the basis of the eligibility criteria for each of these posts.

UGC NET Exam Analysis 2026 Geography
UGC NET exam for the Geography subject is being held in Shift 1 today. The candidates who have appeared for the examination has outlined that some sections in Paper 1 were easy to tackle and others were of moderate difficulty. Paper 2 seems to be a bit moderate to difficult.
