Start with clue 4. E is the father of A, so E sits one generation above A.
From clue 1, A is the mother of B, placing B one generation below A, and two below E.
Clue 2 says C is the son of B, putting C a generation below B, three below E.
Clue 3 tells us D is the sister of C. Since siblings share the same generation, D is also three generations below E.
Clue 5 confirms F is A's husband, which fixes F as B's father and completes the family structure, though it isn't needed to answer the question.
Therefore the solution to the problem is that E is the great grandfather of D.
