JNVST Navodaya Lateral Entry 2026 Applications: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has started the registration process for the Navodaya School Lateral Entry Selection Test 2027. Navodaya Lateral Entry Selection Test 2027: Centre and Exam Date
The selection test for class 9 admission will be held on Saturday April 10, 2027, The exam will be conducted at the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in the concerned district or at another centre allotted by NVS. The selection process will depend on the vacant seats available in the respective JNV.
Documents Required for JNVST Registration
Candidates must keep their photograph and signature of both the candidates and parent ready while filling out the online form. The application will also require details such as state and district of residence and study. Candidates must enter their Aadhaar number and class 8 study details. They will also need to provide their APAAR ID or PEN along with their address and other required information.NVS provides a help desk at all JNVs to help candidates and parents complete the application process free of cost. Parents can visit the concerned JNV with the candidate and required documents including the photograph and signatures.

- Aadhaar card
- Divyang certificate (if applicable)
- OBC certificate (if applicable)
Note: For the rural area the certificate must confirm that the candidate studied Class 8 at a school located in a rural area. The residence certificate must be valid and show the parents residence in the same district where the JNV is located and where the candidate studied Class 8.
Admit Cards and Documents To be Submitted After Selection
The Navodaya Lateral Entry Selection Test 2027 admit card will be released according to the schedule decided by NVS. The date will be displayed on the application portal later. It is expected to be made available around one month before the examination. Candidates and parents can download the admit card free of cost.
