The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2026 provisional answer key today, February 17, 2026. According to the official notification released, candidates can check the NIFT 2026 provisional answer key online on the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee. The online, Computer Based Test (CBT) examination was held on February 8, 2026 across multiple centres in India.

The NIFT 2026 provisional answer key is available for the UG (Bachelor of Design (B.Des.), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.), and PG Programmes (Master of Design (M.Des.), Master of Fashion Management (M.F.М.), Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech.) (Regular) and NLEA (NIFT Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA)- B.Des., NIFT Lateral Entry Admission (NLEA)- B.F.Tech courses. In case a student finds discrepancies or errors in the answer key, they can raise the objections online. If the challenge(s) raised are found correct, the answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Keys, the result will be prepared and declared.

NTA NIFTEE 2026: Provisional Answer Key Challenge Window

In case a student finds discrepancies or errors in the answer key, they can raise the objections online by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. The last date to submit challenges against the provisional answer key is February 19, 2026, up to 11:50 PM. Candidates will need to pay the online objection fee via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI. No challenge will be accepted after the deadline has passed and without successful payment of the processing fee. 

How to raise objections against NIFTEE 2026 Provisional Answer Key?

Candidates can follow these simple steps to challenge the answer key:

  1. Visit the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee
  2. Click on ‘Answer Key Challenge for NIFT (UG) & (PG)’ link on ‘LATEST NEWS’ ribbon
  3. Enter your Application Number and Password followed by the security PIN
  4. Press on ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’ 
  5. Select the Question ID you want to challenge and the correct option
  6. Upload supporting documents in one single PDF file (in case of multiple submissions)
  7. Click on ‘Save your claim and Pay Fee Finally’
  8. Pay INR 200 per question to submit the objection
  9. Download confirmation page
