NCERT Recruitment 2026: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has extended the last date of application for 117 teaching posts till 06 March 2026 (till 5 pm). The interested and eligible candidates who haven’t applied yet can fill the application form without any hassles. The application process to fill the positions of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Deputy Librarian and Assistant Librarian commenced by NCERT from 31 January onwards and previously, the last date of application was set at 20 February 2026. Applicants belonging to UR/OBC/EWS are required to pay a fee of Rs.1000/- through online payment mode. No other mode of payment will be accepted. Women applicants and applicants belonging to SC/ST/PWD are exempted from payment of fee. Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
