The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the merit list for admission to the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the July 2026 session. Candidates who appeared for the entrance examination can now visit the official IGNOU website at ignou.ac.in and check their selection status by visiting the official IGNOU website. The merit list has been prepared based on candidates scores in NTA entrance examination and the programme preferences they submitted though the Google form. - Candidates selected in the IGNOU ITEP Merit List 2026 will receive the admission offer on their registered email ID
- Admissions offers will be sent first to candidates selected under their respective merit categories
- If a seat remains vacant after the first round, IGNOU will offer admission to eligible candidates on the basis of waiting list
- Candidates should check their registered email regularly for admission updates and further instructions from the university
- Selected candidates should follow the instructions in the admission email and complete all admission formalities before the deadline

Candidates who receive the admission offer must complete the admission process within the deadline mentioned in the email sent. AsIGNOU will not extend the admission deadline under any circumstances.Candidates should keep all the required documents ready and pay the admission fee using any of the available payment options such as Credit Card, Debit card, Net Banking or UPI.
