Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE today announced the Class 10 CBSE Result 2026. As many as 24.71 lakh students appeared for the board examinations this year. While many students have scored over 95%, a few students have shone the brightest. One of the toppers is young Nitesh Behl of DPS Greater Faridabad, Sector 81.

Gushing over the result, Nitesh shared that his mother was shocked to see his result. While his family is extremely proud, he admitted that his mother was hoping for a good result but even these marks left her extremely proud.

“My parents did not believe it at first,” he says, “but finally after staring at the mark sheet for a few minutes the feeling sank in.”
Asking about his success mantra, he said that it was all about consistency. He thanked his teachers and Principal of the school for continued support and motivation. “It was always a combined effort. My parents ensured I had the comfort to study, my teachers were always there to answer my queries and the school, especially Principal ma’am, constantly motivated me. I studied but I believe my success was not individual but the hardwork and prayers of so many,” he said.
When quizzed about his future plans, Nitesh shared that he was planning to pursue Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 11. “My future plans include pursuing science as my major interest and wish to pursue a degree either in B. Tech or AI.”
But his interests are not only academic, Nitesh enjoys a good game of chess and is fond of video editing. He is also a strong advocator of sustainability and wishes to work in the domain. “World today needs to understand sustainability over growth. The onus of a future now lands on us and we all must do our bit,” he says.

On Nitesh’s performance, Dr. Bindu Sharma, Principal, DPS Greater Faridabad shared his overall zeal and how the school was completely proud.

She further shared his overall interests and how he has been working throughout to build his career from an early age. “His initiative in building a strong profile, including his presence on LinkedIn and his aspiration to pursue higher studies in Japan, reflects his forward-thinking approach. His work in AIoT innovations such as SanRakshak and JalRakshak, along with his recognition among the Top 100 in AIM and his consistent achievements in Olympiads, speaks of his commitment beyond the classroom.”
“With the constant support of his parents and the guidance of the school, we are confident that Nitesh will continue to excel and make meaningful contributions in the future,” added Dr. Sharma.
