Finn Allen is a premier New Zealand opening batter known for his unparalleled aggression in white-ball cricket. International Career

Allen first played in T20Is with Bangladesh in March 2021 at Hamilton, and then in ODIs in 2022. Although he got off to a slow start with a duck, he soon got accustomed, hitting 71 off 29 in his third T20I.

Allen set his name in history on 17 January 2024, when he scored 137 using 62 balls against Pakistan and hit 16 sixes during a 200-innings T20I match, a New Zealand record. His world status as a power-hitter was enhanced by this knock.

Being a right-handed batter who is an aggressor, Allen loves playing down-the-ground sixes and mid-wicket shots and dictates terms in the power play.
