UPESSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has invited online applications from the eligible candidates for the Assistant Professor posts in non-government aided co-education colleges and women's colleges of the state. The UPESSC has advertised a total 1936 vacant posts across 42 subjects. The commission has also published a notice which mentions that the candidates willing to apply for the recruitment must have to complete the One Time Registration (OTR) before proceeding with the application. The application process starts from 08 September and will go on till 07 October 2026. The written examination is scheduled to be held on 19 & 20 November 2026.

OTR Process

First and foremost, the candidates are required to complete the One Time Registration process. Only after the OTR, the candidates will be able to fill the application form. Here are steps to complete OTR.

• Visit the official website at upessc.up.gov.in.

• Click on the Assistant Professor Apply Link.

• You will be redirected to the Registration page.

• Click on the Create your OTR ID.

• Enter your personal details and contact details.

• Now get your Identity verification done by using any government provided ID.

• Upload Live photograph.

• Upload your scanned signatures.

• Now submit the form after previewing.

• Your OTR process is complete.

• You will get an email and SMS regarding successful OTR registration which includes the OTR ID.

How to Fill an Application Form?

• After your OTR is done, visit the UPESSC website again and this time click on the Sign In button.

• Enter your OTR ID/ email address/ mobile number and password/ OTP to login.

• After login, fill the application form with all the required details carefully.

• Upload the remaining documents.

• Pay the application fee as applicable.

• Submit the form and save it for future reference.
