The response sheet was made available through the official AP TET portal, while the final answer key is expected to be made available through the same official portal. Candidates may need their relevant examination details to access candidate-specific information. Keeping registration details and other credentials available will help candidates avoid unnecessary delays. Candidates should also ensure that they are visiting the correct official website and not a similarly named unofficial page. Candidates should not share passwords, OTPs or other login information with anyone while attempting to access the AP TET portal.

AP TET Final Key 2026: Do Not Confuse Provisional and Final Key

Candidates should understand the difference between the provisional and final AP TET answer keys. The provisional key is released initially and provides candidates with an opportunity to challenge answers they believe are incorrect. The final key is released after the examination authority reviews the objections. Therefore, the two keys may not necessarily be identical. Candidates who calculated their probable marks using the initial key should repeat the calculation after the final key is released. This is particularly important for candidates who raised objections or whose answers were affected by a disputed question. The official AP TET information bulletin states that the subject expert committee is the final authority for redressing objections to the initial key. It also specifies that no objections are entertained against the final key. Candidates should therefore use only the final key when making their final estimate of marks.

AP TET Final Key 2026: What Candidates Should Check in PDF

After downloading the AP TET Final Answer Key 2026, candidates should check several details before calculating their score. First, they should confirm that the PDF corresponds to the correct paper and subject. Next, they should check the question numbers and answer options carefully. Candidates should compare the final answers with their recorded responses rather than with memory of what they attempted during the examination. Any changes from the provisional key should also be noted. Candidates should save the final PDF after completing the verification process. Since no objections are entertained against the final key, candidates should treat the document as the final official reference for answer verification. The final key can then be used to calculate the probable score and assess whether the candidate is likely to meet the qualifying marks.

AP TET Final Key 2026: Candidates Can Calculate Their Expected Marks

Candidates can calculate their probable AP TET score using the final answer key and their response sheet. The process involves comparing each response recorded during the examination with the corresponding correct answer in the final key. Candidates should count the number of questions answered correctly and apply the applicable marking scheme. AP TET consists of objective-type questions, and the examination information should be checked for the relevant paper before calculating the score. Candidates should remember that their self-calculated marks are only an estimate. The official marks declared by the examination authority will be final. Candidates who used the provisional answer key earlier should recalculate their score using the final key because any changes made after objections can affect the estimated marks. The final score can then be compared with the prescribed qualifying marks for the candidate's category.

AP TET Final Answer Key 2026: No Objection Facility After Final Key

Candidates should note that the DSE will not accept objections against the final answer key. The official information bulletin specifically states that the subject expert committee is the final authority for addressing objections to the initial key and that no objections will be entertained against the final key. Therefore, candidates who have already submitted challenges should carefully check the final answer key once released. The final key incorporates the decisions taken after reviewing the objections. Candidates cannot use the final key to submit another challenge. This makes it important for candidates to verify their final answers and calculate their expected score accurately.

AP TET 2026: SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen Need 60 Marks

As per the AP TET official notification, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen categories need to secure 40% marks to qualify. This means that out of 150, they need to secure 60 marks. Candidates in these categories can use the final answer key to calculate their probable score and compare it with the qualifying marks. The final marks, however, will be determined by the exam conducting body. Candidates should also check their individual result and marks after the result is announced. Qualifying marks are intended to determine TET eligibility and are separate from the marks or merit requirements that may apply in a subsequent teacher recruitment process.

AP TET 2026: BC Candidates Need 75 Marks to Qualify

Candidates belonging to the BC category need to secure at least 50% marks in AP TET i.e. the candidates need to obtain 75 marks to qualify. Candidates can use the final answer key and their response sheet to calculate whether their estimated score reaches this level. Candidates should remember that the final result and marks released by the DSE will determine their official score. The qualifying marks should also not be confused with a recruitment cut-off, which can vary depending on the recruitment process, vacancies and other applicable factors. Candidates who meet the AP TET qualifying requirement can proceed according to the rules applicable to subsequent teacher recruitment opportunities.

  • Sep 9, 2026, 12:13 IST

AP TET 2026: General Candidates Need 90 Marks to Qualify

Candidates belonging to the OC/EWS category need to secure at least 60% marks to qualify in AP TET. Since the paper carries 150 marks, this translates to 90 marks out of 150. Candidates can compare their expected score calculated from the final answer key with this. However, candidates should remember that category-specific eligibility rules and any applicable government provisions should be considered while interpreting the result. The qualifying marks indicate eligibility in the Teacher Eligibility Test and should not be confused with a recruitment cut-off. Candidates who qualify AP TET become eligible for consideration under applicable teacher recruitment rules, but qualifying the examination itself does not guarantee appointment.

AP TET 2026: Each Paper Carries 150 Marks

The AP TET examination follows a 150-question, 150-mark structure for the relevant papers. Candidates can use the final answer key to determine how many answers they got correct and estimate their marks. The examination is objective in nature, and the final answer key provides the official correct responses. Candidates should carefully compare their response sheet with the corresponding final key. The score calculated using the answer key is only a probable score and should not be treated as the official marks until the result is declared. Candidates should also check the applicable qualifying percentage for their category. For AP TET, the qualifying thresholds vary by category, with OC/EWS candidates requiring 60%, BC candidates 50%, and SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates 40%.

Candidates should preferably retain the final key along with their response sheet and admit card until the entire examination and result process is completed. The final answer key is especially important because the official information bulletin states that objections will not be entertained against the final key. AP TET 2026 Final Key Expected to Determine Probable Scores

The AP TET Final Answer Key 2026 will allow candidates to get a more accurate estimate of their examination score. Candidates can compare the final answers with the responses recorded in their response sheet. Since the final key is prepared after considering objections, it provides a more reliable basis for score calculation than the provisional key. AP TET papers consist of multiple-choice questions, and candidates can calculate their marks by identifying the number of correct responses according to the final key. Candidates should remember that the final score declared by the examination authority remains the official score. The self-calculated score is only an estimate and may not exactly match the marks mentioned in the final marks pdf. Candidates should therefore use the final key to assess their performance while waiting for the official result.

AP TET Final Key 2026: What Changed After Candidate Objections?

The release of the AP TET Final Answer Key marks the completion of the answer key objection process. Candidates who challenged questions in the provisional key will be particularly interested in whether any answers have been modified. The examination authority reviews objections through a subject expert committee before preparing the final key. Candidates should compare the final answer key with the provisional key and their response sheet to identify any changes that could affect their estimated score. If an answer has been revised, candidates who selected the revised correct option may see an improvement in their probable score. Similarly, any decision concerning a disputed question may affect the calculation of marks. Candidates should remember that the final key is considered conclusive for the examination, and the official information bulletin does not permit objections against it.

AP TET Final Key 2026: Objection Process Completed

The objection window for the AP TET provisional answer key has already been completed. According to the official schedule, candidates were allowed to submit objections from 25 August to 31 August 2026. The objection process provided candidates with an opportunity to challenge answers they believed were incorrect in the initial key. The subject expert committee constituted by SCERT is responsible for considering these objections. The final answer key will reflect the decisions taken after examination of the challenges. Candidates should note that the final key is different from the provisional key because it represents the answer key after completion of the objection process. The official information bulletin clearly states that no objections will be entertained against the final key. Therefore, candidates should carefully check the final answers once the PDF is available and use it to estimate their final score.

AP TET 2026 Final Key: Paper-Wise Answer Keys to Be Checked

The AP TET Final Answer Key 2026 will enable candidates to verify answers for the paper in which they appeared. AP TET includes different papers based on the teaching level and subject requirements. Candidates should therefore ensure that they download and check the answer key corresponding to their examination paper. The examination is conducted for different categories, including Paper 1A, Paper 1B, Paper 2A and Paper 2B. Candidates should not compare their responses with an answer key meant for another paper or subject. The final key will be particularly useful for candidates who had raised objections against one or more questions in the provisional key.
