UP Police SI Result 2026 OUT: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) released the results for the UP Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment Examination 2026 on its official website. A total of 12,333 candidates (approximately 2.7 times the number of advertised posts) have been shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST).The Commission will be conducting the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document verification in the third week of May 2026.
The UP Police SI Examination 2026 was successfully conducted across 75 districts of the state on March 14 and 15, 2026. The examination was held in two shifts on both days. The first shift ran from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift took place from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Through this recruitment drive, the board is set to recruit a total of 4,543 vacancies for Sub-Inspector and equivalent posts will be made within the Uttar Pradesh Police Department. According to the UPPRPB, a total of 1,575,760 candidates applied for the recruitment, comprising 1,166,386 male and 409,374 female applicants. Candidates who have qualified in the UP Police SI results will now be called for the subsequent stages of the recruitment process, such as the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), document verification, and medical examination.
