SSC MTS Shift Timings 2026: Check Reporting Time & Exam Date

SSC MTS Exam Date 2026: The Staff Selection Commission is all set to begin SSC MTS 2026 exam from February 4 onwards. This national-level exam is held annually to shortlist eligible candidates for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC and CBN) posts. For FY 2025-26, the commission have announced 7948 vacancies, of these, 6810 are reserved for MTS and 1138 for Havaldar posts. The first stage of the selection process, i.e. Computer-Based Test, will commence on February 4. It will be held in four shifts. Aspirants planning to appear for the exam must check the SSC MTS Shift Timings and reach the exam venue 2 hours before their shifts.

SSC MTS Shift Timings 2026

The SBI Clerk Prelims exam duration is 1.5 hours, and the timings for the four shifts are as follows: 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, 12 Noon to 1:30 PM, 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Aspirants must report to their allotted exam centre at least two hours before the exam time to complete identity verification and frisking process.

SSC MTS Reporting Time

The commission mentions the SSC MTS shift timings in the admit card. Candidates must reach the exam center at the allotted time, carrying the necessary documents. No entry shall be allowed after the gate closing time or half an hour before the exam timings.

SSC MTS Exam Date 2026

The Staff Selection Commission will conduct SSC MTS Havaldar exam from 4 February onwards to fill 7948 vacancies. Selection of candidates will be done based on their performance in the written exam and PET & PST (only for Havaldar position).
