The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued the recruitment notification for Group A B and C posts. Under this recruitment process the board is going to fill a total of 53 posts in different positions including Deputy Director (Medical) Junior Programmer Junior Accountant Stenographer and Junior Assistant. The online application process will commence on June 29 2026 and eligible candidates will be able to fill their applications through the official website at natboard.edu.in.

NBEMS Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria & Application Fees

Deputy Director (Medical) Recognised postgraduate medical qualification.

Junior Programmer B.Tech/BE/BCA/DOEACC B or C Level or degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics.

Junior Accountant Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Mathematics, or Statistics.

Stenographer Class 12 pass with shorthand and typing proficiency.

Junior Assistant Senior Secondary (Class 12) pass with computer knowledge.
Age Limit

Deputy Director (Medical) Maximum 35 years.

Junior Programmer, Junior Accountant, Junior Assistant Maximum 27 years.

Stenographer: 18 to 27 years.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India norms.

General/OBC candidates: Rs 1,500 plus 18% GST.

NBEMS Recruitment 2026 Selection Process and Exam Schedule
For Junior Accountant Stenographer and Junior Assistant posts the selection process consists of a computer based test (CBT) followed by a computer knowledge or skill test. There will be no interview for Group B and C posts.
For Deputy Director (Medical) and Junior Programmer posts, the detailed examination scheme will be notified separately by NBEMS.
The recruitment examination is tentatively scheduled for September 5 and 6 2026. Admit cards will be issued on the official website before the examination.
