The CBSE is set to release the CTET Answer Key 2026 by mid-March after the March 1 re-examination in Bihar. Candidates can download their OMR response sheets from ctet.nic.in to calculate scores against the qualifying criteria (90 marks for General, 82 for Reserved) before the final result, which is expected by end of March.

CTET Answer Key 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the CTET Answer Key 2026 after the successful completion of the re-examination conducted on March 1. The CTET exam 2026 for Paper 1 and Paper 2 was conducted on February 7 and 8; a small delay in the answer key release happened due to the rescheduling of the examination at select centres in Bihar.
Candidates who appeared for the 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) can expect the provisional answer key to be released on the official website, ctet.nic.in, shortly.

When CTET Answer Key 2026 Release?

CBSE releases the provisional key within 10–15 days of the examination's conduct. As the exam concluded on February 8, the key was initially expected by February 23. However, the cancellation of Paper 2 at two centres in Vaishali, Bihar, St John’s Academy and Lakshya International Academy shifted the timeline. The re-exam of affected candidates was conducted on March 1, 2026. We can expect the CTET official answer key 2026 to get released by the second week of March.

How to Calculate Scores?

The CTET is a qualifying exam, meaning there is no competitive "cut-off". Candidates need to meet the minimum percentage set by the CBSE. Notably, there is no negative marking, which encourages candidates to attempt all 150 questions. CHeck the details below
