WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2026: West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, WBBSE, has officially announced through an official notification that the results for the Madhyamik Pariksha, Class 10, 2026, will be announced on May 8, 2026.This announcement brings the much-awaited clarification to over 9.7 lakh students who appeared for the secondary examination earlier this year.

According to the official notification, the results will be declared via a press conference in the morning, after which the digital scorecards will be made available on the official website wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in. This year, the examinations were conducted from February 2 to February 12, 2026. The evaluation process was completed in record time, despite the academic calendar being closely followed by the West Bengal Assembly Elections.

To access the scorecard, students must keep their admit cards ready. Follow these steps to download the provisional marksheet:

  • Visit the official website at wbresults.nic.in or wbbse.wb.gov.in.
  • Click on the link Madhyamik Pariksha Result 2026
  • Enter your roll number and date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy)
  • Click submit to view your subject-wise marks and promotion status.

The board has noted that the online result is provisional. Schools will be able to collect the original marksheets and certificates from the respective camp offices on the same day. For students unsatisfied with their marks, the window for Post Publication Review, PPR, and Scrutiny, PPS, will open shortly after the declaration.
