Marking Scheme to Calculate TS ICET 2026 Score

TS ICET paper has 200 questions and each correct answer is of 1 mark. The exam has no negative marking. In order to qualify OC and BC candidates need at least 50 marks out of 200 which is 25 percent of the total score.SC and ST candidates do not have a minimum qualifying mark for rank allotment.

How is TG ICET Rank Allotted?

TG ICET 2026 rank is allotted based on the normalized score and not just the raw score. This is done because the exam is held in multiple sessions and the difficulty level can vary slightly from one shift to another. Normalization helps keep the ranking fair for all candidates. If two or more candidates get the same normalized score, the first preference is given to the candidate with higher marks in Section A, Analytical Ability. If the tie still continues, higher marks in Section B, Mathematical Ability are considered. If the tie is still not resolved, the older candidate is given the better rank. The rank awarded in TG ICET is valid only for the current admission year.
