JEECUP 2026 Registration: The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has extended the JEECUP 2026 registration deadline. The revised last date for online application of Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (UPJEE Polytechnic) 2026 is till May 17, 2026. Students interested and eligible for the examination will need to register online on the official website at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.

Initially, the registration deadline for the diploma and polytechnic programmes exams was April 30, which was later extended till May 10 with the fee payment deadline till May 11, which thus stands updated again. The admit cards for the same are expected to be released on May 25, 2026. The exams for Groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L, and K1 to K8 will be held from June 2 to 9, 2026.

Candidates interested in applying and eligible for the JEECUP 2026 exams will need to follow the mentioned steps to register online:

1. Visit the official website at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
2. Under 'CANDIDATE ACTIVITY BOARD', click on the relevant link for your profile:

JEECUP 2026 Exam Details

• The JEECUP exam is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted for admission into polytechnic and diploma courses across Uttar Pradesh.
• The exam is available in both English and Hindi, with a total duration of two and a half hours.
• The paper consists of 100 Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• The marking scheme includes +4 marks for each correct answer and a deduction of one mark for every wrong answer.
• There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
• Candidates must carry the hard copies of their admit cards, a government-issued ID, a photograph, and a pen for rough work to the examination centre.
• Earlier, the exams for JEECUP 2026 were to be held from May 15 to 22, 2026, which were later rescheduled. The official website reads, “It is hereby informed that due to unavoidable reasons, the Computer-Based Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic)-2026, earlier scheduled from 15 May to 22 May 2026, has been rescheduled and will now be conducted from 02 June to 09 June 2026.”
