JEE MAINS 2026 Result LIVE: NTA JEE MAINS Final Answer & Scorecard Tomorrow at jeemain.nta.nic.in

According to the details available on the official website in 2026 the JEE Main session 1 exams were conducted from 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29 January 2025. A total of 13,11,544 candidates registered for the session 1 exams from which 12,58,136 candidates appeared. The overall pass percentage recorded for JEE Main Session 1 exam last year was 95.93%

Along with releasing the JEE Main session 1 results, NTA will also be releasing the list of students who have topped their JEE Main session 1 exams. The toppers list will contain the list of candidates who have secured top ranks in the session 1 exams along with their marks and percentile.

Those who have appeared for the JEE Main session 1 exams from January 21 to 29, 2026, can visit the official website to check the result. The B.E and B.Tech Paper 1 final answer key for JEE Main 2026 session 1 is expected to be issued online tomorrow, February 11, 2026. 8. If there is a tie even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank

The National Testing Agency earlier released the JEE Main 2026 session 1 provisional answer key for the B.E and B.Tech Paper 1 exams. The window to submit challenges on the provisional answer key closed on February 6, 2026. The provisional answer key for JEE Main Paper 2A and 2B, B.Arch and B.Planning is yet to be released by officials. The PDF will be available for download on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in

The Percentile Scores will be calculated up to 7 decimal places to avoid the bunching effect and reduce ties. The Percentile score of a Candidate is calculated as follows

100 × Number of Candidates appeared in the shift with Raw score Equal to or Less than the candidate

The National Testing Agency is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 session 1 B.E and B.Tech final answer key soon. Those who have raised challenges on the session 1 answer key will be able to check the final answer key PDF. The Percentiles would be calculated for each candidate in the Shift as follows: Let TP1 be the Percentile Score of the Total Raw Score of that candidate

The percentile Score of all the lowest raw scores will depend on the total number of candidates who have taken the Examination for their respective Shifts.

All the highest raw scores will have a normalised Percentile Score of 100 for their respective Shift.

The Percentile Scores will be calculated up to 7 decimal places to avoid the bunching effect and reduce ties. The Percentile score of a Candidate is calculated as follows:

• Normalisation procedure based on Percentile Score” will be used to ensure that candidates are neither benefited nor disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of the Examination.
• The process of Normalization is an established practice for comparing candidate scores across multi-shifts papers.
• For normalisation across Shifts, NTA shall use the percentile equivalence based on the Shift-wise relative performance of all those who appear for the examination. The marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each Shift of examinees.
• The Percentile score will be the Normalized Score for the Examination (instead of the raw marks of the candidate) and shall be used for the preparation of the merit lists.
• The Percentile Scores will be calculated up to 7 decimal places to avoid the bunching effect and reduce ties.
