Haryana to Reconstruct 150 Schools With Rs 400 Crore: CM Saini Announces Major Infrastructure Push

Students studying in 150 schools across Haryana could soon have access to improved school buildings as the state government prepares to begin reconstruction work. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said the government has completed a survey of schools across the state and identified 150 buildings that require reconstruction.
The government has released Rs 400 crore for the construction work, Saini said while addressing a programme in the Ladwa Assembly constituency.
150 School Buildings to Be Reconstructed
According to the Chief Minister, the state government surveyed school buildings across Haryana before identifying the 150 schools for reconstruction.
The construction work is expected to focus on replacing or rebuilding school buildings that require significant improvement. The government has released the required funds and plans to take up the construction work at the earliest.
For students, the proposed reconstruction could mean better physical infrastructure and improved facilities for attending classes.

Better Infrastructure for Students

Rs 400 Crore Released for Construction
The Chief Minister said Rs 400 crore has been released for the reconstruction of the identified school buildings. However, details such as the names of all 150 schools, the individual allocation for each school and the exact construction timeline were not specified in the announcement.
Students and parents in the identified schools will therefore need to wait for further details from the state Education Department regarding the commencement and completion of work.
Other Development Announcements
During his programme in the Ladwa Assembly constituency, Saini also announced Rs 21 lakh for development works in Bir Kheri and Rs 2 lakh for books for the village library.
He further announced Rs 50 lakh for the construction of a community centre in Anthedi, along with beautification work at the local cremation ground.
Seva Sankalp Abhiyan
The announcements were made during the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan in Haryana. Various government departments set up stalls in villages including Kalirano and Sultanpur to hear public grievances and provide information about government schemes.
The school reconstruction announcement is expected to bring a major infrastructure upgrade to the 150 identified schools once the construction process begins.
