Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has started registrations for its online counselling. Candidates who are eligible can apply till 17 June 2026 by visiting the universities official website at ipu.ac.in. The counselling and seat allocation process will be carried out according to the merit requirements prescribed for each programme such as JEE Main rankings and other qualifying examination scores as determined by the University. Candidates must complete the online registration process to participate in the counselling round

Applicants are required to pay the Rs 2,500 (which includes Rs 1500 as participation fee and Rs 1000 as applicable bank charge)

Candidates must submit their preferred choice of college and programme

Those allotted a seat in the first counselling round must pay the partial admission fee within specified deadline to confirm their admissions

As part of counselling process candidates need to fill and lock their college and programme preferences

The choice filling and locking window will remain active from 12 Pm on 11 June 2026 to 17 June 2026 (11:59 PM)
How to Register for GGSIPU Counselling 2026
Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to register for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University counselling process.

Visit the GGSIPU official website at ipu.ac.in

Fill in the required details and other information to generate login credentials

Submit all the required documents in prescribed format

Submit the counselling fee

Download and take print out of the payment receipt for future reference

Select preferred programme and college in order of priority and lock the choice before the last date

Seats will be given on basis of merit so preferences should be submitted by candidate

Candidates who accept the allotted seat will have to pay a partial amount of Rs 40,000
-
After the allotment is done candidates may choose to freeze the allotted seat withdraw from the counselling process or participate in subsequent and sliding rounds for upgradation
