CBSE Board Exam 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notice regarding the marks distribution scheme for the upcoming CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams 2026. The notice points out the mistakes made by schools while uploading marks in respect of Practical/ Project/ Internal Assessment online on the portal, and the practical examinations, projects, and internal assessments for both classes.
The official notification states that it has been noticed that schools often mark mistakes with regard to uploading the marks scored by students in their Practical/Project/Internal Assessment. To make sure that the same is not repeated, a list of subjects for class 10 and class 12 with details has been given in the circular. Schools affiliated with the board are advised to read through the instructions. Schools must strictly follow the rules mentioned and not make a request later for corrections. The notification further states that the maximum marks allotted to each subject is 100 (One Hundred), with marks distribution among theory, practical, project and IA components given in the annexure. Schools have also been advised to complete the Practical Exam/ Project / IA correctly within the scheduled time frame to avoid any inconvenience to the students at later stages.
