There are many reasons why cricket fans are very excited about the 2027 World Cup:

  2. Focused on the Future Tours Programme (FTP): As per ESPNcricinfo, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 will be the first ICC event of the 2027-2031 Future Tours Programme (FTP), which governs bilateral international engagements between sides and which is set to be finalised at ICC meetings in Hong Kong later this year.
