TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment 2026: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has started the online application process for the Combined Civil Services Examination-IV (Group IV Services) for 6,574 vacancies. The notification was released on October 6, 2026 and the online  application process started from October 7, 2026 through the official website at tnpsc.gov.in. The last date to submit the application is November 5, 2026. The recruitment covers various posts such as Village Administrative Officer, Junior Assistant, Typist, Steno Typist, Forest Watcher and Forest Guard with Driving Licence. The written examination is set to be conducted on January 10, 2027.

1. Educational Qualification

• For several posts candidates must have passed SSLC while some posts require graduation or specific technical qualifications.

• The Village Administrative Officer and several Junior Assistant posts require the minimum general educational qualification, while certain Junior Assistant posts require a degree.

2. Age Limit

• The minimum age to apply is 18 years.

• The maximum age depends as per the post you have opted for.

• For Village Administrative Officer posts the minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age in the general category is 30 years.

• Reserved category candidates would be provided age concession as per the state government norms.
