RRB JE Shift Timings 2026: The RRB JE 2026 exam dates have been announced officially by the Railway Recruitment Board. The CBT 1 exam will be held on 19 February, 20 February, and 25 February 2026. Aspiring candidates for this extremely competitive engineering entrance exam have to prepare not only for revision but also for time management.

RRB JE Shift Timings 2026 

RRB JE 2026 CBT 1 exam will be conducted in three shifts to avoid any congestion in the entry process, biometric verification, and management of the exam at all centers. The Computer-Based Test (CBT-1) will be conducted for a period of 90 minutes for all candidates.

RRB JE Shift 1 Timings

RRB JE Shift 1 is the first session of the day and begins early in the morning. Candidates must report to the exam centre by 07:30 AM, while the gate will close sharply at 08:30 AM. After completing biometric verification and security checks, the exam will start at 09:00 AM and conclude at 10:30 AM. 

RRB JE Shift 2 Timings

RRB JE Shift 2 is the afternoon shift. The reporting time for this shift is 11:00 AM, and the gates will be closed at 12:00 PM. The examination will start at 12:30 PM and will continue until 02:00 PM. Candidates allocated for this shift should be present at the centre at least 30-45 minutes prior to the reporting time.

RRB JE Shift 3 Timings

RRB JE Shift 3 is the evening session of the CBT 1 exam. Candidates must report by 03:00 PM, and entry will not be permitted after the gate closing time of 04:00 PM. The exam will start at 04:30 PM and finish at 06:00 PM.

Important Exam Day Instructions for RRB JE 2026
