RBI Office Attendant Notification 2026 Notification: The Reserve Bank of India has published the notification for recruitment to the 572 posts of Office Attendant on its official website. Selection for the post will be done through a competitive examination conducted in an online test followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The written test is scheduled to be held on February 28 & March 01, 2026 across the country. Candidates can apply for RBI Recruitment 2026 on or before February 04, 2026 on RBI official website -https://rbi.org.in.

RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria 

Applying candidates should have requisite educational qualification as mentioned in the notification. You can check the detailed of eligibility as mentioned below-

RBI Office Attendant Educational Qualification

A candidate should have passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the concerned State/UT coming under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruiting Office to which he/she is applying. Such qualification should be from a recognized board of that State/UT.

RBI Office Attendant Age limit:

• General/EWS - 18 to 25 Years
• SC/ST - 18 to 30 Years
• OBC - 18 to 28 Years
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) - By 10 years (GEN/EWS) 13 years (OBC) & 15 years (SC/ST)

RBI Office Attendant Notification 2026: Exam Pattern

Selection will be done on the basis of performance of candidates in online test followed by the Language Proficiency Test (LPT) The exam will be conducted in online mode and there will 120 objective-type questions of 120 marks on:

Those candidates provisionally shortlisted in the online test will have to appear in the language proficiency test (LPT) which will be of qualifying nature. The language proficiency test (LPT)  will be conducted in the Official / Local Language/s of the State concerned as detailed in notification. Candidates not proficient in the Official / Local Language as per LPT shall be disqualified.

RBI Office Attendant Selection Process 2026

Selection for  Office Attendant  will be through Online Test followed by Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Only those candidates provisionally shortlisted from the online test are able to appear for language proficiency test (LPT). LPT will be of qualifying nature and will be conducted in the Official / Local Language/s of the State. 

RBI Office Attendant Salary, Pay Scale & Allowances

Candidates selected finally for the Office Attendant posts will draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 24,250/- per month in the scale of Rs.24250 – 840 (4) – 27610 – 980 (3) – 30550 – 1200 (3) – 34150 -1620 (2) - 37390 – 1990 (4) - 45350 – 2700(2) - 50750 – 2800 (1) – 53550 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA) for Office Attendants will be approximately Rs.46,029/- per month. As per the detailed notification released, the House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid to them, additionally, if they are not staying in Bank’s accommodation

Digi Locker has been integrated with the online application form. The candidate may provide access to issued credentials/documents (Aadhaar, Educational Qualification Documents, etc.) and information (Name, Date of Birth, Gender, etc.) through Digi Locker on a voluntary basis.

•  It redirects the candidates to the online registration page.
• Candidates will have to enter their basic details and upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and a hand-written declaration in the online application form as per the specifications given.
• To register an application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration" and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
