The MP Police Constable Salary 2026 is structured under the Pay Band 1 with a Basic Pay scale of Rs. 19500 to Rs.62000 (Pay Level 1). In addition to the core basic pay, selected candidates receive monthly government allowances including the Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and special risk benefits.

MP Constable Salary After 5 Years

After 5 years of continuous service in the Madhya Pradesh Police Department, a constable will receive annual increments, which are typically 3% of the basic pay, along with the periodic DA revisions.

  • Estimated Basic Pay:- Increases from Rs. 19500 to approximately Rs. 22600 to Rs. 23300.
  • Monthly In-Hand Salary:- Increases to Rs. 32000 to Rs. 38000 per month approximately, and it will depend on the posting city and prevailing DA rates.
  • Career Progress:- Candidates become eligible for departmental promotional exams or seniority-based consideration for the post of Head Constable (Grade Pay Rs.2100).

MP Constable Salary After 10 Years

Completing 10 years of service significantly increases the total salary through increments and promotional opportunities.

  • Designation:- Head Constable (HC) or Senior Constable
  • Estimated Basic Pay:- Increases to approximately Rs. 26000 to Rs. 28000 (Under Level 1 and Level 2 pay matrices).
  • Monthly In-Hand Salary:- Scales up to Rs. 40000 to Rs. 47000 per month.
  • Additional Benefits:- Increased medical coverage, higher pension contributions under NPS, and increased uniform and field allowances.
