The IIT Guwahati has released the GATE Shift Timings on its official website. As per the latest notice, the GATE 2026 exam will be held in two sessions daily. GATE Exam Pattern 2026
Candidates must also be well-acquainted with the GATE exam pattern 2026 for top-notch preparation. The GATE 2026 exam is divided into two subjects i.e. General Aptitude (GA) and Candidate’s Opted Subject. A total of 65 questions are asked for 100 marks in the exam duration of 3 hours. A negative marking of 1/3rd mark and 2/3rd mark shall be applicable for 1-mark MCQ and 2-mark MCQ, respectively for each incorrect answer in the exam.
