Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has published 281 vacancies for the Junior Engineer (Civil) posts. Candidates aspiring to become Junior Engineer should analyse the syllabus before commencing their preparation. DSSSB JE Syllabus 2026

DSSSB has released the syllabus for the Junior Engineer (Civil) posts on its official website. Candidates should thoroughly check the syllabus to recognise exam-specific topics and plan their preparation. The selection will be made based on the performance in the One Tier Technical exam. The written exam comprises 200 multiple-choice questions worth 300 marks. The exam duration will be 3 hours. Candidates should understand all the aspects of the exam to perform well. DSSSB JE Exam Pattern 2026

Candidates should analyse the DSSSB JE Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme. This helps them determine exam mode, number of questions asked, duration, etc. The written exam comprises multiple-choice questions. The medium of test will be bilingual (Hindi & English) except for the Language papers. The test duration will be 3 hours. There shall be negative marking. There will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for each wrong MCQ answer of 1 marks question, and a deduction of 0.50 marks for each wrong MCQ answer of 2 marks question.
