In a major update for candidates who were to appear for the Physical Efficiency and Measurement Test (PE and MT), which was to be held from August 22, 2026, and whose exams were postponed, the Delhi Police Recruitment Board has officially announced the new exam dates. As per the official notice, the Physical Efficiency and Measurement Test will be held from September 18, 2026, to October 5, 2026. The PE/MT exam will be held on different days for various posts, such as Constable (Executive), Head Constable (Ministerial), Head Constable (AWO/TPO), and Constable (Driver). These exams were postponed due to bad weather conditions.

Important Instructions & New Admit Card Guidelines for Delhi Police PE/MT Candidates 2026
To make sure that there is a smooth evaluation process at the ground venues, the Delhi Police Recruitment Cell has rolled out important guidelines for all the shortlisted candidates:-
- Candidates should note that the previous admit cards are invalid. Fresh admit cards will be uploaded and issued on the official Delhi Police website before the revised exam dates.
- Candidates will have to report strictly at the given time, date, and venue as mentioned in the new admit card. No venue changes will be allowed or entertained.
- In addition to the fresh admit card, candidates will have to bring the original identity proofs (Aadhaar Card, Driving License for Driver post, or Voter ID), educational certificates, category credentials, and recent passport-sized photographs for the on-site verification.
