AP Intermediate Exam 2026: The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, will begin the Inter 1st and 2nd year exams from February 23, 2026. The board recently issued the AP Intermediate 1st and 2nd year hall tickets on the official website. Candidates appearing for the exams must visit the official website and log in with their credentials to download the hall tickets. 

Changes Introduced for AP Intermediate Exams 2026

As per reports, changes have been introduced for the AP Intermediate examinations. As per the details available, a 32-page answer booklet will be provided to students instead of the earlier 24-page answer booklet. 

  • Answers are to be written in the new booklet, and additional sheets will not be provided. 

  • Mathematics 1A and 1B exams have been merged into a single paper.

  • The one-mark objective-type questions have also been introduced in subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. 

AP Intermediate Hall Ticket 2026

The AP Intermediate 1st and 2nd year exam hall ticket is available on the official website of the board. Students can download their hall tickets using their login credentials. After downloading the hall tickets must get the school stamp/ seal and the principal's signature on the hall tickets. 

This year, approximately 10.57 lakh students are scheduled for the AP Intermediate exams, from which 5.31 lakh candidates will be appearing for the AP Inter 1st year exam, and 5.26 Lakh candidates will be appearing for the second year exams.
