The SSC CHSL Skill Test is qualifying in nature. The skill test vary depending on the post candidates has applied for
1. Data Entry Operator (DEO)
Standard DEO: Candidates must have a data entry speed of 8,000 Key Depressions per Hour (KDPH). The duration of the test is 15 minutes.
DEO Grade ‘A’: Requires a higher speed of 15,000 KDPH.
2. LDC/JSA and Assistant Posts
English Medium: 35 Words Per Minute (WPM).
Hindi Medium: 30 Words Per Minute (WPM).
Duration: 10 Minutes.
