The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) will soon be announcing the level 2 results for the academic year 2025-26 in mid-March 2026. The exams that were scheduled from February 8 to February 15, 2026, have garnered students from classes 3-12 from across the country

The level 2 examination included the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), National Science Olympiad (NSO), and International English Olympiad (IEO) on February 8 (and February 15 for Maharashtra). Students can soon check their final rankings and award status online on the SOF portal. It is an important exam to allocate international and zonal champions who will later be awarded with prestigious medals, cash prizes, and merit certificates following the result announcement.

What are SOF Olympiad Level 2 exams? 

The SOF Olympiad Level 2 is an advanced second-level academic competition exam for the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), National Science Olympiad (NSO), and International English Olympiad (IEO) aimed at kids in Classes 3–12 who performed well in the Level 1 exams. 

• Selection in Level 1 of the exam is extremely competitive, with only the top 5% of candidates worldwide getting selected across the world. 

• Only the top 25 rank holders in each zone and school-level toppers who carry out particular score standards are being considered. 

• The coursework remains the same as the first level, the focus switches to higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) and complicated, application-based tasks that expand on strong conceptual understanding.=

• Achieving a high Level 2 rank is the major criterion for receiving international or zonal accolades, such as cash prizes, trophies, and the famous Student Performance Report (SPR), which provides a full comparative examination of a student's academic status on a worldwide scale.

Step-by-Step to Download SOF Olympiad Level 2 Result 2026

Step 1: Search for the official SOF website result at https://results.sofworld.org/results 

Step 2: Go to the homepage and look for the ‘Latest Updates.’ Next, go to ‘Results’; a new tab will appear. 

Step 3: Select the exam you want to check result for, such as SOF NSO 2025-26, SOF IMO 2025-26, etc. 

Step 4: Submit your roll number, school code, Class, section, etc., details in required sections (Example: AN0006-11-X-005)

Step 5: Enter Security Captcha, which may include math questions.

Step 6: Next, click on ‘View Results’ for your subject Level 2 scorecard. You may see International Rank, Zonal Rank, awards won, etc.

Step 7: Download the PDF and save it for future reference or to show your rank for later exams.
