SBI PO Mains 2026 Exam Day Guidelines - Check Shift Timings, Dress Code, Things to Carry and More

The State Bank of India (SBI) will be conducting the SBI PO Mains 2026 Exam tomorrow, September 12, 2026. Thousands of candidates who cleared the preliminary exam will now appear for the SBI PO Mains exam tomorrow at various exam centres across India for Probationary Officer vacancies. The SBI PO Mains Exam 2026 will be conducted in a single shift only. The SBI PO Mains will be conducted from 1 PM to 4:30 pm. The candidates will have to complete their exams in 3 hours and 30 Minutes. Candidates are advised to reach their exam centres 1 hour before the exam start time.

Candidates who will appear for the SBI PO Mains Exam 2026 are advised to read the instructions mentioned on the admit card very carefully. The exam will be conducted in a single shift of 3 hours and 30 minutes and will start from  1 P.M. to 4:30 PM. Candidates should report to the exam centre 60 minutes before the exam starts to avoid any last-minute rush.

Important Documents to Carry to SBI PO Mains Exam 2026

Before appearing for the exam tomorrow, September 12, 2026, candidates should carefully read the exam instructions given below:-

• Carry the printed copy of the Mains Admit Card 2026 with a pasted photograph
• A valid Photo Identity card issued by the government, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN Card, Voter ID card, etc.
• A photocopy of the Photo ID.
• Two passport-size photographs
• Candidates should bring their authenticated Prelims Admit Card, which was stamped during the Phase-I exam.

Exam Day Guidelines for the SBI PO Mains 2026

Once the candidates have downloaded their SBI PO Mains Admit Card, they are advised to read the exam day instructions mentioned in the hall ticket carefully.

• Candidates should arrive 60 minutes before the start of the exam. Latecomers will not be allowed after the gate closing time.
• Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before the exam ends.
• The photographs uploaded by the candidates should match the photograph pasted on the admit card.

• Candidates are advised to keep their typing clean, use simple sentences to minimise grammatical errors, and leave 3 minutes to proofread.
• If the questions are lengthy and multitiered puzzle either keep them for last or skip them to secure marks in confident standalone questions.
• There is negative marking, so the candidates are advised to avoid blind guessing and only attempt those options where they can confidently score marks.
