The Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) is conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, on behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh to determine candidates' eligibility for the Assistant Professor/Lecturer positions in Universities and Colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Candidates planning to appear in this exam should combine past papers and the syllabus for effective learning. The written exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT).  It consists of 2 papers: Paper 1 is based on Teaching & Research Aptitude, and Paper 2 is focused on the Subject Paper. A total of 150 questions worth 300 marks are asked in the exam. The overall exam duration will be 3 hours. Candidates should practice with past papers to build a strong grip on every topic.
